Alzheimer’s Association - National Capital Area Chapter, Education Programs

Based on the guidance from local public health agencies, our staff in all locations are working
remotely. Alzheimer’s Association programs continue virtually in the immediate term. We will re-evaluate these measures on an ongoing basis and resume in person engagements as soon as we are able, based on public health guidelines.

THE 10 WARNING SIGNS OF ALZHEIMER’S
If you or someone you know is experiencing memory loss or behavioral changes, it’s time to learn the facts. This workshop is for everyone. It provides compelling information about Alzheimer’s disease, a greater understanding of the difference between age-related memory loss and dementia and what to do if you see signs of Alzheimer’s.

LIVING WITH ALZHEIMER’S FOR PEOPLE WITH ALZHEIMER’S 
The diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease is life-changing and leads to many questions. This three-part program offers the chance to hear from others who have been diagnosed. They discuss what you need to know, what you need to plan and what you can do to develop and work with your family and care team.
