Durable Medical Equipment Reuse Program - Now Accepting Donations

Groundbreaking New Maryland Program

***NOW ACCEPTING DONATIONS***​​

The Maryland Department of Aging is providing durable medical equipment (DME) to Marylanders with any illness, injury, or disability, regardless of age, at no cost. All equipment will be sanitized, repaired, and redistributed to Marylanders in need.

This service will improve the quality of life for many Maryland residents and provides them the opportunity to avoid costlier levels of care.

How can you help?

Durable Medical Equipment (DME) donations are accepted: 
Monday-Friday 8am-4pm 
11701 Crain Highway 
Cheltenham, MD 20623 

Please call 240-230-8000 in advance of donating. 
DME pickup is available under certain circumstances.

Each donation will be sanitized, repaired, and provided to an individual in need.
Donations needed:
  • Wheelchairs and Power Chairs
  • Walkers and Rollators
  • Toilet and Shower Supports
  • All Pediatric Equipment
  • Scooters and Strollers
  • Bathroom aids
  • Hospital beds

Need Durable Medical Equipment to improve your mobility or make daily activities easier?

We are currently NOT providing DME to the public, please stay tuned for information on how to receive equipment. Additional donation and distribution centers will be opening statewide in the coming months!
