Black-2-Basics: Our Healing & Transformation During COVID-19

As follow-up to the COVID-19 Virtual Town Hall, BMHA has launched a virtual series Black-2-Basics: Our Healing & Transformation During COVID-19. This series will engage our community leaders in a discussion on specific topics related to our healing and transformation in the Black community during the COVID-19 pandemic.

On Thursday, April 30, 2020 @ 7 PM - 8:30 PM, we will begin our virtual series with the topic:

We will address the emotional and mental challenges facing our children, coping mechanisms, and how to identify warning signs when children are in emotional and mental danger. We will also explore the challenges and solutions for parents to manage an IEP and educate their children during this pandemic.
