Join us as we welcome Amy Argetsinger, Washington Post Style section editor and longtime pageant fan, as she leads a discussion about her new book, "There She Was: The Secret History of Miss America."

Amy Argetsinger is an editor for The Washington Post Style section.
A staff writer since 1995, she authored the Post’s Reliable Source column for several years before becoming an editor in 2014.

CESLC Insider: How To Select A Home Health Aide 
December 22, Noon

Kathleen McGuinness, Director Community Relations for SmithLife Home Care will lead an educational discussion so you can make a more informed decision on choosing an aide, if and when the need arises. McGuinness will discuss certifications that are available, the role of a Geriatric Care Manager, the value of SAGE certification and how to determine how much help you need.

McGuinness is a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) and End-of-Life Specialist who has worked and trained with Montgomery County Hospice.

CEU credit for Maryland social workers in process.
