The Biden administration recently
rolled out the second phase of a sweeping plan to reconfigure the
nation’s economy. This lecture/discussion will delve into the
dimensions of that plan, focusing on what’s in it, why it’s so
controversial, and what its adoption might mean for our country’s
future. Presenter: Jesse Stiller is a
historian and writer, who specializes in American history, modern
European history, and international relations. Stiller received his
Ph.D. from the City University Graduate School, where he completed
his studies under the guidance of the renowned historian Arthur
Schlesinger Jr. As a government historian, Stiller taught
military history to Army officers and banking and financial history
at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, a unit of the
U.S. Treasury Department. |
