LIVING WITH ALZHEIMER’S FOR CAREGIVERS – EARLY STAGE
In the early stage of Alzheimer’s disease, families face new and confusing situations and questions as they adjust to a life changing circumstance. This three-part program helps newly diagnosed persons and families hear practical answers to questions, learn about needed resources and coping strategies. (3-part series)

EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION STRATEGIES
Communication is more than just talking and listening-it is also about sending and receiving messages through attitude, tone of voice, facial expressions and body language. This workshop explores how communication takes place when someone has Alzheimer’s. Learn to decode the verbal and behavioral messages delivered by someone with dementia and identify strategies to help connect and communicate at each stage of the disease.

Hear a brief overview on Alzheimer’s, dementia and memory loss. Bring a friend who has been affected by the disease. Share your thoughts about how we can help people in your community. Registration is requested to receive the Zoom link.
