A live, one-way video allows volunteers to “see” what the user can’t — and to help them almost instantly.
The average wait time is 15 seconds.
“I love answering calls because it humbles me that low-vision or blind people go through a lot of extra work just to get through daily life,” one volunteer wrote.
Be My Eyes is only available on iPhones or iPads.
