Sunrise over Lesotho from PeaceCorps.gov There is a
saying that people who served in the Peace Corps in Africa come
home smiling; those who served in Asia come home meditating; and
those who served in Latin America come back as revolutionaries.
Wherever in the world Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCVs)
have served, virtually all would agree that they are forever
changed by their experience. As the
Peace Corps celebrates its 60th Anniversary this year, we gather
with an array of RPCVs who served in all regions and all eras to
reflect on how their Peace Corps experience changed their lives.
How did one's experience in their country of service forever
change their lives, lifestyles and world views? This
program will be moderated by RPCV Frances Holliday Alford. |
