winner is... Hosting a Zoom Meeting!
Next week, I am looking forward to our programs on Online Shopping
(Spanish) and Wearables. The former is an exciting lecture – don't forget
to pencil it in!
Lastly,
in case you missed it, we made a big announcement this week – Senior
Planet and OATS (Older Adults Technology Services) are joining AARP as
charitable affiliates! Read about this new chapter in the Senior Planet

Registration is required to participate and is limited to 15 people. We
ask that, to the best of your ability, you register only if you're able
to attend most or all of the sessions.  Hosting on Zoom Program Series
February 22nd - March 25th
Tuesdays & Thursdays @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm ET

a Zoom participant, never a host? Sign up for this four-session series
to change that! After an introductory lecture, you’ll sign up for a
Zoom account, schedule your first meeting, and learn the most commonly
used meeting controls during two hands-on sessions. The final session
of this series is devoted to extra practice and questions, so you can
start hosting on Zoom with confidence. The workshops in this series
walk through the steps using Zoom in your web browser. |

and AARP: A Talk with Tom Kamber and Scott Frisch

 This past
Wednesday, Feb. 10, over 100 attendees virtually gathered for an
informative conversation between Tom Kamber, Executive Director and
Founder of OATS and Senior Planet, and Scott Frisch, EVP and Chief
Operating Officer of AARP. Tom and Scott provided some history on how our
new affiliation came to be, shared why they are so enthusiastic about the
news, and answered many of our participants’ excellent questions.
