Volume 11, Issue 2 | February 2021

Greetings!

Greetings from AAHI to our friends and community partners! It is hard to believe our County, state, and nation are now almost a year into the coronavirus pandemic response. AAHI is still working with our partners to do what we can to connect community members to reliable information and resources related to COVID-19. We are still as busy as ever as we re-imagine our work to fit the "new normal”, while navigating the pandemic and all its challenges.

During this time, AAHI bid farewell to Perry Chan, AAHI’s former Program Manager II and Liz Rhee, former Senior Wellness Coordinator. In addition, we welcomed Tammy Wan, AAHI’s new Health Education and Communications Coordinator.

Read through to learn more about our current activities! As always, remember to stay up to date with AAHI's activities by following us on Facebook and Twitter!

COVID-19 Resource Guide

We understand that it is difficult to stay updated on the all of the different COVID-19 resources, services, and relief programs. To help streamline this information, AAHI consistently updates the COVID-19 Resource Guide, which provides a snapshot summary of different COVID-19 relief efforts and other relevant programs.

The types of services captured in the COVID-19 Resource Guide include COVID-19 testing, food access, housing, employment, financial assistance, and more. The purpose of this guide is to organize information related to all of the different support services in one place and enable individuals to easily identify the services most relevant to their needs.

The COVID-19 Resource Guide will be updated periodically by AAHI as information about services change and new programs emerge. It has since been updated to include new and current resources. Be sure to regularly check AAHI's Resource Library (https://aahiinfo.org/aahi-resources/) for future updated versions, or email AAHI's Resource Coordinator, Sophia Yoon, at Sophia.Yoon@montgomerycountymd.gov, to be placed on the email distribution list.
