Ashwani Rajput, M.D., Director of the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center for the National Capital Region, will discuss current research trends and available treatment options to help prolong patients’ lives.
Exercise & Lung Disease

Regular exercise is part of a healthy lifestyle, even if you have a lung condition. Join the next virtual Better Breathers Club meeting to learn how to exercise safely with your lung condition so you can perform and feel better in mind and body. Families, friends and caregivers are welcome to attend. Registration is required.

TaijiFit

This serene workout of gentle flowing movements works the whole body effectively. Based on traditional Tai Chi, TaijiFit repeats movements in succession to build confidence and comfort.
Mindfulness Meditation

A Mindfulness Center instructor guides participants on the basics of mindfulness meditation by focusing on posture, breathing and energy work.

Students in grades 4-6 will learn important safety tips to help prepare them to be home alone, including how to practice safe habits, handle common household emergencies and understand who should treat illnesses and injuries.
