Asian American Health Initiative - Photo Novel for Caregivers

The Asian American Health Initiative (AAHI) is excited to share the newest volume of their mental
health photonovel series! This afternoon, AAHI, along with a number of Asian American community leaders, their Steering Committee, their Mental Health Ambassadors, and their photonovel actors came together to launch their fifth mental health photonovel, Mental Health: Social Connections - A Resource for Caregivers!

Since 2015, AAHI has developed several multilingual mental health photonovels to address the unique mental health challenges that face Asian Americans and to dismantle the stigma of mental health in Asian American communities.

This volume of the mental health photonovel addresses the issue of loneliness and social isolation in older adults and also provides local resources meant to facilitate and encourage social connectedness. AAHI developed this photonovel with support from their Steering Committee and their Mental Health Ambassadors, a group of advocates and professionals who volunteered their time to guide this photonovel project.

We invite you to view the photonovels, which are available in English, Chinese, Hindi, Korean, and Vietnamese, Click here to view the photo novels  and share them with your friends and neighbors!

Template versions of the photonovels in Microsoft Publisher formats are also available so communities can create their own photonovels!
