Additional Information
The Alzheimer's Association National Capital Area is pleased to bring the award-winning documentary Our Time Machine (Mandarin/English Subtitles) and a panel discussion virtually to the comfort of your home.
Our Time Machine follows artist Maleonn’s journey to make his most ambitious work to date. Shaken by the news of his father’s dementia, Maleonn creates Papa’s Time Machine, a wondrous time-travel adventure performed on stage with life-size mechanical puppets. Through the play's production, he confronts his own mortality. Maleonn finds grace and unexpected joy in this moving meditation on art, the agonies of love and loss, and the circle of life. June 10 at 7pm join us virtually to learn about the warning signs of Alzheimer's, and at 8pm view a live panel discussion with Directors Yang Sun and S. Leo Chiang.
