Senior Planet Montgomery Winter Classes Registration is open now for FREE technology classes starting Monday, February 3. Classes meet twice a week over the course of five or 10 weeks depending on the course and are designed for learners age 60 and older. Montgomery County offers course instruction, books, and devices to use in class at no charge to participants. To register for a course, call the number associated with a site below.

Help the County Eliminate Traffic Fatalities - Attend the Vision Zero Town Hall The Montgomery County Council will hold a Vision Zero town hall meeting
February 9 at 2:00 pm at Wheaton High School (12401 Dalewood Dr, Silver Spring, MD 20906). The event will give residents the opportunity to describe the safety issues they encounter on roadways, sidewalks and crosswalks in the County. During the event, residents can also learn about the county's Vision Zero plan, which aims to eliminate severe and fatal collisions for drivers and their passengers, pedestrians and bicyclists by 2030. County officials need to hear the perspective of the 50+ population.
