National Caregiver Month - Engage@HOME YouTube Video Interviews



November is National Caregiver Month and as with previous years, the County's Engage@HOME YouTube channel has recorded a number of informative interviews with regional care providers. National Family Caregivers Month is celebrated each November and it is a time to recognize and honor family caregivers across the country.

Celebrating Family Caregivers during National Family Caregivers Month enables all of us to:
Raise awareness of family caregiver issues
Celebrate the efforts of family caregivers
Educate family caregivers about self-identification
Increase support for family caregivers

In Montgomery County our 2021 theme is RENEWAL and our guests share:
  • Words of wisdom for caregivers so they can discover new inner strength and community supports
  • Creative ideas that could include art, music, lifelong learning etc.
  • Practical examples that will help caregivers deal with “day-to-day” challenges.
  • Updates on resources and tools.
  • and much more.
